2025 Men’s NCAA Tournament Odds: Four Teams to Bet to Win March Madness

March 17, 2025

With March Madness just around the corner, it’s time to jump on the bandwagon, even if you haven’t been paying attention to college basketball this season. We’ve got you covered. With that being said, we’ve isolated four teams that have the best chance to win a national title—and some offer decent odds. Let’s dive into the fresh odds.

Duke (+315) to Win the NCAA Men's Tournament

The Blue Devils are considered the favorites to win it all after only one loss this calendar year. They're top-five in both offense and defense, and are solid on both ends of the court. Overall, this squad doesn’t have any glaring weaknesses aside from a newer coach, as Jon Scheyer is in only his third year. Could this be the year for Duke? We’ll soon find out.

Auburn (+360) to Win the NCAA Men's Tournament

Auburn has been a top-2 team all season and checks every box. They’re No. 1 in offense, No. 14 in defense, and have Player of the Year candidate Johni Broome in the lineup. Freshman Tahaad Pettiford has quietly put together a sneaky-good season, with four games of 20+ points this year. In fact, three of those games came against power teams in Houston, Duke, and Kentucky. Barring a collapse, the Tigers should reach at least the Elite Eight, if not further.

Florida (+700) to Win the NCAA Men's Tournament

The Gators have been on quite the run recently, especially for bettors, going 20-5 against the spread (ATS) over the last couple of months. Florida could earn a top seed into the tournament and may start to peak in the SEC Tournament. While other teams have shown their best, Florida still may be getting into the groove and peaking at the right time of the year.

Houston (+800) to Win the NCAA Men's Tournament

Could this be the year for the Cougars after a few disappointing runs? After making the Final Four in 2021 and the Elite Eight in 2022, Houston has been upset in the Sweet 16 the last two years. But this squad seems to be better than last year, led by 23-year-olds L.J. Cryer and J’Wan Roberts. They’ve lost once since Christmas, a one-point defeat in overtime against Texas Tech. They’re third-best on defense and No. 3 in the nation shooting from beyond the arc. Is that a recipe for a title run? Perhaps.
