It’s another big week one matchup in the NCAA as we see No.14 Clemson go head-to-head
with No. 1 Georgia at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. The Bulldogs enter as
13.5-point favorites over the Tigers in this game and we’ll look at some of the key player props
in this contest.
Clemson Tigers
Tyler Brown: Over 39.5 Receiving Yards
Big things are expected out of the sophomore wide receiver in 2024. Tyler Brown is coming off a
solid freshman year where he caught 52 passes for 531 yards and 4 touchdowns. Clemson is
counting on him to take the pressure off quarterback Cade Klubnik and become a top option not
only against Georgia but all season.
Phil Mafah: Over 62.5 Rushing Yards
With a stronger offensive line heading into this season, there is much optimism that the Tiger’s
offense could be better this season. That includes running back Phil Mafah who averaged over
62.5 rushing yards per game in all but 4 contests last year.
Georgia Bulldogs
Carson Beck: Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns
Head coach Kirby Smart was quick on his feet in restocking the targets for Heisman contender
Carson Beck, who is the early favorite to go first overall in the 2025 NFL Draft. Beck passed for
2 or more touchdowns 8 times last season. Expect him to come out of the gates roaring as the
Bulldogs are favorites by two scores heading into this game.
Dominic Lovett: Over 50.5 Receiving Yards
Senior Dominic Lovett enters the season as Beck’s number one target after leading all Bulldogs
wide receivers in receptions last season. Add in the fact that three of his fellow wide receivers
from a year ago were picked in the 2024 NFL Draft and one was arrested, it’s safe to say that
Beck will be dialed in on number 6.
