Jake Paul will still fight on July 20th, but his opponent will not be Mike Tyson, instead the
YouTube star will take on Mike Perry in Tampa Bay. Paul and Tyson were originally slated to
square off but after the former heavyweight champion dealt with a recent health scare, that fight
is scheduled to November 15. Now he'll face Perry who fought in the UFC and is now with
BKFC, bare-knuckle fighting championship, and has become the companies biggest star.

would go on to beat Jake Ellenberger and Alex Reyes by KO, both earning performance of the
night. But since then, he has struggled going 3-7 and switched from MMA to the Bare Knuckle
Fighting Championship. Perry has found success going undefeated in five fights including 3
KO’s. The fight against Paul will be a boxing match, and Perry has only had one pro match,
where he got knocked out by Kenneth McNeil in fourth round, in 2015. That’s where Perry is at
a disadvantage against Paul. It’s been nine years since that fight, but he still has the knockout
ability, something Paul has to respect. Most sportsbooks don’t think Perry has a chance, but
like they say, all it takes is one lucky punch.

past their prime. He would finally lose to Tommy Fury, half-brother of former heavyweight
champion Tyson Fury. Since then, he has won against UFC fighter Nate Diaz, Andre August
and Ryan Bourland. As you can see, the theme is similar. Paul’s wins are against has-beens
and never was opponents and this feels like another soft spot for Paul, who eyes his showdown
against Tyson in November.
