Davante Adams, D.K. Metcalf Next Team Odds: Green Bay Contenders for Both

March 10, 2025

They are two of the best wide receivers in recent years, and both are expected to be on the move. After a disappointing half-season in New York, Davante Adams was released by the Jets, while D.K. Metcalf told Seattle management he wants out. So, that brings up the question: where are the likeliest landing spots for these two wideouts?

Adams hit the 1,000-yard mark for a fifth straight season last year, despite missing six games due to injury. Metcalf has at least 900 yards in each of his 6 NFL seasons.

Adams to Green Bay +600

The Packers seem to be a serious contender to sign Adams, as he spent some of his best seasons in Green Bay. He knows the city, the management, and the familiarity with Jordan Love. The Packers are in need of a WR1, so a reunion makes sense here. The Packers are a contender in the NFC, but Adams does prefer the West Coast, as he requested a trade to Vegas a few years ago.

Adams to 49ers +500

The 49ers traded Deebo Samuel and could move on from Brandon Aiyuk, who is returning from a significant knee injury. Could Adams land closer to home, with an offense that still has some pieces?

Davante Adams Next Team Odds:

  • Denver Broncos +400
  • San Francisco 49ers +500
  • New York Giants +600
  • Green Bay Packers +600
  • Los Angeles Chargers +700
  • Las Vegas Raiders +900
  • Seattle Seahawks +1000
  • Pittsburgh Steelers +1200
  • New England Patriots +1400
  • Dallas Cowboys +1600
  • Kansas City Chiefs +1800
  • Buffalo Bills +2000

Metcalf to Green Bay +300

As mentioned, the Packers are in need of a WR1, and Metcalf is still in the prime of his career. The big question is: will the Packers sign him to a big deal worth more than $30 million a season? We saw this season the lack of playmakers for Green Bay at receiver, so this would make sense, but will they part with a first-round pick to get it done?

Metcalf to New England +500

The Patriots are another team lacking an explosive wideout. But would DK go to New England? Sure, the Patriots have a QB in Drake Maye, but they are not yet a contender—something Metcalf says is important to him. New England has cap space to re-sign him, so let’s see if the price is right for compensation.

D.K. Metcalf’s Next Team Odds:

  • Green Bay Packers +300
  • New England Patriots +500
  • Las Vegas Raiders +700
  • Pittsburgh Steelers +700
  • Los Angeles Chargers +800
  • Dallas Cowboys +1000
  • Houston Texans +1200
  • Buffalo Bills +1400
  • Atlanta Falcons +1600
  • Denver Broncos +1600
  • Tennessee Titans +1800
  • Carolina Panthers +2200
